How Baby Gear Rental Works in Turkey: Delivery, Booking & Returns

Renting baby gear for a trip to Istanbul or elsewhere in Turkey can be much simpler than travelling with every bulky item from home.

The basic process is straightforward: choose what you need, select your travel dates, confirm where you are staying, and arrange delivery for your trip.

Here is how it works.

1. Choose the Baby Gear You Need

Start by deciding which items you do not want to bring with you.

Depending on availability, you may be able to rent:

• strollers
• baby car seats
• travel cots and baby cribs
• high chairs
• baby carriers
• bouncers
• other baby equipment

The right setup depends on your baby’s age, your itinerary and what your accommodation already provides.

2. Select Your Travel Dates

Rental periods are planned around your stay.

You will usually need to provide:

• rental start date
• rental end date
• destination
• accommodation details

If you are travelling to more than one place, it is useful to share your full itinerary in advance.

3. Tell Us Where You Are Staying

Delivery arrangements depend on your accommodation.

This may be:

• hotel
• serviced apartment
• Airbnb
• private residence
• another agreed location

For hotels, reception may be able to receive the equipment.

For apartments or Airbnb stays, delivery timing may need to be coordinated more carefully.

4. Confirm the Right Product

For products such as strollers and travel cots, your travel style may determine what works best.

For car seats, child information is especially important.

You may need to provide:

• age
• height
• weight

This helps make sure the equipment is suitable for your child and your trip.

5. Arrange Delivery

For Istanbul stays, delivery is arranged according to your rental dates and accommodation details.

For destinations elsewhere in Turkey, planned delivery should be arranged in advance.

Availability may depend on:

• destination
• travel dates
• equipment required
• delivery schedule

The earlier your itinerary is confirmed, the easier it is to coordinate.

Can Baby Gear Be Delivered Before You Arrive?

In some cases, yes.

Hotels may be able to receive equipment before check-in.

If you want to arrange this, first confirm with your hotel that reception can accept the delivery on your behalf.

This can be especially convenient if you want your stroller, travel cot or other equipment ready when you arrive.

What About Airbnb or Apartment Delivery?

This can also be arranged depending on the booking.

Because there may not be a reception desk, make sure you have:

• full address
• check-in time
• access information
• contact details

Clear scheduling makes delivery much easier.

6. Use the Equipment During Your Stay

Once you receive your baby gear, you use it for the agreed rental period.

If you have questions about the product or need help during your rental, having access to customer support can be useful.

For certain products, such as car seats, make sure you understand the correct setup and usage before your first journey.

7. Arrange the Return

At the end of your rental period, the equipment is returned according to the agreed process.

The exact return method can depend on:

• destination
• accommodation
• travel schedule
• rental arrangement

Planning the return alongside delivery makes the final day of your trip easier.

How Far in Advance Should You Book?

For Istanbul, booking ahead is recommended, especially during busy travel periods.

For destinations elsewhere in Turkey, earlier planning is more important because delivery needs to be coordinated.

Once you know your:

• travel dates
• destination
• accommodation
• equipment needs

you can usually arrange the rental.

What Information Should You Have Ready?

Before booking, it helps to know:

• arrival date
• departure date
• hotel or accommodation name
• full address
• equipment required
• child’s age
• child’s height and weight if renting a car seat
• whether you are travelling to multiple destinations

Having this information ready makes the booking process faster.

What Should You Check Before Renting?

Before confirming your rental, make sure you understand:

• rental dates
• delivery process
• return process
• product suitability
• cleaning and preparation process
• customer support options
• any destination-specific delivery conditions

The goal is to know exactly what to expect before you travel.
